Will I be able to access and operate Digital Banking with the token?

It will soon no longer be possible to access or sign operations using the security code generated by token from the specific Unicaja Banco application for that purpose.

 

Once strong customer authentication comes into force, it will become necessary to fulfil a series of protocols and the token generated by that application, even though it is safe, no longer complies with those procedures.

 

In order to improve Digital Banking access and transaction security and fulfil the payment services regulations, we shall soon ask for your authentication with user name, password and, occasionally, security code sent to the registered mobile telephone by SMS when you want access. The token is also replaced by sending a code to that mobile by SMS when signing double channel operations.

 

If you have not yet registered your mobile phone number for double channel identification, or if you want to change it, you may do so in two ways:

  • By Telephone Banking using the telephone banking code and your coordinate card. If you do not have the Telephone Banking code, you may generate it on the web (not mobile) version of Digital Banking. After it is defined, call us on +34 901 246 246 / +34 952 076 263 to conclude registration through our agents.
  • Or by going to any Unicaja branch.
