Exactly what authentication factors will be requested at online outlets?

As an issuing bank, we will ask customers who are cardholders for the authentication factors which turn out to be easier to use and more convenient for them. We will adapt to their preferences when it comes to using technology and the way in which they relate to us.

However, we won't always ask them for the same authentication factors, which will depend on the device the customer uses to make the online purchase.

In addition, it should be taken into account that all banks of the European Economic Area are subject to PSD2. All of us therefore have to implement these security measures, but each bank has decided which authentication factors it will request from its customers. The shopping experience of the same customer at your outlet may therefore vary depending on the bank that has issued the card they use to make the payment.
