The Self-Employed Requetecuenta (Super Account) is an online account. You must be over 18 years of age, reside in Spain and be a new customer to sign up for this account. Any natural person who has not had any kind of current Unicaja service and/or product in the last 12 months will be deemed a "new customer". This account is solely for professional use and you must confirm that this is the case.
Of course you can!, this online account is conceived to accompany you right from the start, even at the very beginning of your activity. You just need to be registered as a self-employed worker at the Tax Agency and Social Security. Thus, when you start up your activity, you will already have your account ready to receive payments, directly debit your contributions and manage your business without any complications.
It is a simple process which allows us to confirm your identify without you having to go to a branch. You just need a device equipped with a camera, preferably your mobile phone, to complete the subscription process of your Self-Employed Online Account. During the process we will ask you:
It is not necessary for you to go to a branch. You can open your online account for the self-employed wherever you may be and in just a few minutes. You just need your mobile phone, your national or alien's ID card and an Internet connection.
Of course! You can associate a POS (Point of Sale) terminal to your online account for the self-employed without any problems. It is an ideal option if you need to charge your customers with a card or mobile phone, either at a brick-and-mortar store or on your website.
In order to do so, you must go to your branch to request it once your account has been opened.
(1) Special terms and conditions for new self-employed customers. This offer is available to individuals who have not acquired any form of Unicaja product or service in the last 12 months. Only one account per customer is allowed. Typical example: If you directly debit your self-employed contributions for an amount equivalent to or greater than €50 a month during the first year and keep a constant average balance of €20,000, you will receive gross annual interest amounting to €593.40, applying an AER of 3.00% (APR of 2.967%). You may not benefit from any other salary, pension or self-employed contribution promotions during this period. After the first year, the return will amount to an AER of 0.00% (APR of 0.00%). Interest is paid every three months. No maintenance or administration fees. Offer valid until 31 January 2026.
(2) Exemption from transfer fees for standard and immediate euro-denominated transfers between payment accounts of customers located in the SEPA made on the Unicaja Electronic Banking service, Mobile Banking service or its ATM network. Fund Movement Orders (FMOs) made through the Bank of Spain are excluded from this exemption.
(3) A quarterly refund amounting to 1.00% of the sum of all directly debited bills charged in the settlement period will be given up to a maximum limit of €100 a year. Only water, electricity, gas and telecommunications bills will be calculated for this purpose. Bonus may not be accumulated with other similar promotions.
Bonuses for directly debited bills are subject to taxation and deemed for tax purposes as income from moveable capital obtained from the transfer to third parties of one's own capital according to Article 25(2) of Act 35/2006 on Income Tax. They are subject to a tax withholding at the current withholding rate pursuant to Articles 74(1) and 75(1) of the Personal Income Tax Regulation.
(4) Visa Business Debit Card without any issuance or maintenance fees provided it is associated to the Requetecuenta digital Autónomos or where you consume over €3,600 over a one-year period in purchases and/or mobile phone top-ups (monthly average of €300). Cancelled transactions or reimbursements do not count. In all other cases, the maintenance fee amounts to €32 per year.
(5) Debit cash withdrawals without a fee at ATMs depending on the province. Consult map. At all Unicaja ATMs (includes the Liberbank network) and as from €120 at ATMs in the EURO 6000 network (EURO 6000 institutions included: Abanca, Novo Banco, Ibercaja, Kutxabank, Cajasur, Evo Banco, Cecabank, Caja de Ontinyent, Colonya Caixa Pollensa and Cardtronics), Banco Sabadell, Bankinter, Caja de Ingenieros, Arquia Banca and Euronet in the following provinces: La Coruña, Lugo, Orense, Pontevedra, Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa, Álava, Navarra, La Rioja, Burgos, Segovia, Guadalajara, Madrid, Zaragoza, Huesca, Teruel, Lleida, Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona, Castellón de la Plana, Balearic Islands, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia, Granada, Córdoba, Badajoz, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas. And as from €120 at ATMs belonging to any network in the provinces of Huelva and Seville.
(6) Collective policy taken out by UNICAJA MEDIACIÓN, S.L.U., a RELATED BANKING-INSURANCE OPERATOR, duly registered at the Special Administrative Registry of Insurance Intermediaries, Reinsurance Brokers and their Senior Executives kept by the Directorate-General of Insurance and Pension Funds under Registration No. OV-0010 and with VAT Registration Number B-92802271, acting through the distribution network of Unicaja Banco, S.A. Third-party liability insurance taken out in accordance with Act 3/2020 of 4 February. Free insurance applies to the holder of the Visa Business Debit Card. Collective policy renewed by calendar years at the institution's discretion.

The contract will be entered into in Spanish.
The contract must be signed on the same day as we place it at your disposal on the signature platform, otherwise the subscription process will expire.
