A good way of looking after your foreign customers is to offer them the possibility to make their card payments in euros or in their own currency, so they know the exact amount to be taken from their account without the surprise of a subsequent exchange rate.
Accepted currencies
The currencies supported by this system are British Pounds (United Kingdom), Swiss Francs (Switzerland), Swedish Kroner (Sweden), Danish Kroner (Denmark), Norwegian Kroner (Norway), US Dollars (USA), Canadian Dollars (Canada), Australian Dollars (Australia) and the Yen (Japan).
Service fee
In transactions with currencies other than euros, Unicaja adds a margin to the transaction that the buyer pays for service costs and the exchange rate risk. Both amounts are presented on the POS screen before confirming the transaction so the customer can choose their preferred option.
