Code card
Unicaja provides you with a code card so that you can operate your accounts via the Internet or by telephone.
The Unicaja Code Card allows you to:
- Carry out operations that involve moving funds or contracting products and services through Unicaja's Remote Services. This is an additional level of security for operations that require more protection.
- Having to enter a code from the Code Card ensures that, even if someone guesses or knows your login details, they will not be able to perform transactions involving the moving of funds or contract products, as providing a second varying code, of one of the 64 that your code card contains, will be required.
- Security is doubly reinforced by the password, which is known only to the user, and by one of the 64 keys on the co-ordinate card, which is required for transactions. This system is considered to be very safe.
Please take into consideration the following when using your Code Card:
- If you are a Digital Banking user who only to consult your accounts and you want to start making transactions such as transfers, payments or contracting products, etc., you must first apply for the Coordinates Card at your branch in order to be able to sign the transactions.
- The Code Card is unique to each user, no matter how many Remote Services contracts they have. It cannot be shared with other people.
- If you lose your Code Card, please notify us by telephone at +34 952 60 67 67 or go to any Unicaja branch.
