(1) Provided that the customer who is the account's main holder meets all the requirements set out below, the Youth Account will be exempted from maintenance, wire transfer, giro and other euro payment order fees between customer payment accounts located in the SEPA, as long as they are done through the Digital Banking service (Unicaja website or app) and are not urgent or FMO (Fund Movement Order) transfers, as well as from fees for depositing euro-denominated Spanish cheques. The requirements are as follows:
- Being the holder of a Unicaja debit or credit card which is operational. "Operational card" shall be construed to mean a card that has been activated either on the Digital or Telephone Banking service, or which has been used to make a transaction in shops or at ATMs.
- Having subscribed Unicaja's Remote Banking services.
Where all the aforementioned requirements are not met, the maintenance fee shall amount to €60.00 a year (settled on a quarterly basis) and the fees for said transfers and deposits of euro-denominated Spanish cheques set out in the Informative Document on Fees shall be applied.
Any natural person aged between 18 and 27 may open a Youth Account.
A.P.R. 0.00%. A.E.R.: 0.00%. Interest-free. For a case in which all the requirements are met, the account shall be exempted from the maintenance fee.
A.P.R. 0.00%. A.E.R.: -0.996% for a case in which the requirements are not met and a balance of €6,000 is kept in the account for a year, the account maintenance fee amounts to €15 per quarter.
(2) Only people aged under 28 may sign up for a Youth Mastercard Contactless Debit Card. Issuance and maintenance fee of €0.
