MAIN FEES
Maintenance fee: €39.00 per year. Exempt from the payment of the maintenance fee if you spend more than €3,600 on purchases and/or mobile top-ups within an annual period (monthly average of €300). Cancelled operations and returns do not count. Or, if you are a holder of the Fee-Free Plan, Fee-Free Plan for Business or Fee-Free Plan for the Self-Employed and you meet the established requirements.
Fee for withdrawing money from your account through ATMs (debit):
€0, for withdrawals in the ATMs ofUnicaja Banco, S.A.
100% of what the owner of the ATM charges Unicaja for that withdrawal. In other words, for cash withdrawals with a debit card made by the customer at the ATMs of other banks in Spain (not Unicaja Banco), the Euro Area, Sweden and Romania, Unicaja will pass the amount that these banks charge on to the customer. Please note that at the time of making the withdrawal you should see information on the screen giving the amount that the bank owning the ATM will charge Unicaja for the withdrawal, and that we can pass on to you. In any case, you can check the areas in Spain where, to make up for the fact that we do not have an extensive ATM network in these provinces, we do not charge you for the first three cash withdrawals with your debit card. 4.00% (minimum €3.50) in other countries. We will charge this price for cash withdrawals from ATMS outside Spain, the Euro Area, Sweden and Romania.
Fee for cash withdrawals using your credit card:
4.00% (minimum €3.50), for withdrawals from the ATMs of Unicaja Banco, S.A.
4.00% (minimum €3.50) plus 100% of what the owner of the ATM charges Unicaja for that withdrawal. In other words, you will be charged a fee of 4.00% (minimum €3.50) of the amount withdrawn and we will also pass on the amount that the bank that owns the ATM you are using to withdraw money charges us for using their ATM in other banks in Spain (not Unicaja Banco), the Euro Area, Sweden and Romania.
5.00% (minimum €5.00) in other countries. In other words, you will be charged a fee of 5.00% (with a minimum of €5.00) of the amount withdrawn in banks that are not in the Euro Area or in Sweden or Romania.
Fee for transactions in currencies other than the euro: 3%This fee will be applied to the amount resulting from the equivalent in euro of all the transactions in foreign currencies (purchases and cash withdrawals) performed with the card in accordance with the exchange rate obtained by the Payment Systems on the date of the corresponding settlement.
INTEREST RATE
In deferred payment mode the transactions (purchases, cash withdrawals, etc.) performed using the card will be added up and you can repay a fixed amount of the credit drawn, which will be settled and paid on a monthly basis every 1st of the calendar month until the full payment of the amount of the transactions performed in this payment has been made. The drawn balance will be charged an annual nominal interest rate (NIR) of 22.20%. The AER will vary depending on whether or not the payment of the maintenance fee is taken into account and on the amount of credit on the card. Here are some different examples of the AER:
- For a credit drawdown on a Mastercard Business Credit Card for a purchase in a Spanish store for €1,500 repaid in 11 monthly installments of €140.54 and a final monthly installment of €140.49, the total amount owing would be €1,686.43 (if you do not pay the card maintenance fee), in this case the AER would be 24.60%.
- For a credit drawdown on a Mastercard Business Credit Card for a purchase in a Spanish store for €1,500 repaid in 11 monthly installments of €140.54 and a final monthly installment of €140.49, the total amount owing would be €1,725.43 (if you do pay the annual card maintenance fee of €39.00), in this case the AER would be 31.06%.
- For a credit drawdown on a Mastercard Business Credit Card for a purchase in a Spanish store for €3,000 repaid in 11 monthly installments of €281.07 and a final monthly installment of €281.11, the total amount owing would be €3,372.88 (if you do not pay the card maintenance fee), in this case the AER would be 24.60%.
- For a credit drawdown on a Mastercard Business Credit Card for a purchase in a Spanish store for €3,000 repaid in 11 monthly installments of €281.07 and a final monthly installment of €281.11, the total amount owing would be €3,411.88 (if you do pay the annual card maintenance fee of €39.00), in this case the AER would be 27.77%.
In all cases, the amount of the monthly repayment can never be less than €20, so the minimum installment to be paid will be €20, plus the interest and fees that have been generated in the period.
