Easy-To-Read Small Print
(1) Promotion valid until 30 June 2023. For any people who directly deposit their salary or pension at Unicaja Banco for an amount between €800 and €1,199 (bonus of €150) or more than €2,000 (bonus of €250) and sign up for the promotion through the Digital Banking service during the time the campaign is in effect. Permanence commitment to the institution of 24 months. This incentive is subject to taxation and deemed as earnings from the transfer of monetary assets to third parties according to Article 25(2) of Act 35/2006 on Income Tax which is in force. Unicaja Banco will withhold income tax and pay it according to Article 74(2) of the Income Tax Regulation, without passing on the costs of this payment to the customer. "Salary" or "Pension" is construed to mean income from regular payments identified as such from private companies or public bodies. Unemployment benefit payments, wire transfers from other entities whose reference of origin is other than that of salary or pension, cash payments, cheques or transfers from other accounts are not deemed as a "salary" or "pension". This promotion is deemed an investment return for tax purposes and is subject to a tax withholding according to the tax regulations that are in force, which shall be made by the institution Unicaja Banco, S.A. with VAT Reg. No A-9313905 and registered office in Malaga at Avenida de Andalucía 10-12.

(2) The Zero-Fee Plan exempts the holder from the maintenance fees of the account or passbook held by them which they designate as the Zero-Fee Plan's associated account, as well as from any issuance fees for any euro-denominated wire transfers the customer makes from the associated account through Digital Banking (Unicaja Banco website or app) or ATMs to customer payment accounts located in the SEPA (excluding immediate wire transfers and fund movement orders, also known as FMOs, made through the Bank of Spain) and the maintenance fees of credit cards held by the customer that are designated by them.
You may benefit from the advantages offered by the Zero-Fee Plan provided you fully fulfil either of the two options described below:
Option 1
Two basic requirements plus one of the optional requirements, at the customer's choice, must be fulfilled.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS (must be fulfilled simultaneously):
- Salary, pension or unemployment benefit deposited directly into the account on a monthly basis for a net amount equivalent to or greater than €600 or recurrent deposits(*) equivalent to or greater than €7,200 in the last 12 months with a monthly deposit in at least six of the twelve months counting from each fee's settlement date.
- Consumption on credit cards of which the customer is the holder for an amount equivalent to or greater than €1,200 per year or at least two transactions per month using said cards counting from each fee's settlement date.
(*) "Recurrent income" is construed to mean any income received by the CUSTOMER in an account opened at Unicaja Banco of which they are the main holder with a frequency of at least one monthly transaction in six of the twelve months through deposit transactions — except over-the-counter or ATM cash deposits and wire transfers made between accounts held by the same CUSTOMER —, wire transfers from other institutions and/or handling or clearing of cheques.
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS (at least one of which must be fulfilled):
- Balances of investment funds (including Discretionary Investment Portfolio Management), pension plans and saving insurance subscribed through Unicaja Banco or brokered by it of which the customer is the holder for a total amount equivalent to or greater than €6,000.
- Having taken out from the institution one or several insurance policies(**) that are in force of which the customer is the policyholder and the sum of said policies' paid premiums being equivalent to or greater than €100.
Option 2
The basic requirement plus one of the optional requirements, at the customer's choice, must be fulfilled.
BASIC REQUIREMENT
- Balances of investment funds (including Discretionary Investment Portfolio Management), pension plans and saving insurance subscribed through Unicaja Banco or brokered by it of which the CUSTOMER is the holder for an amount equivalent to or greater than €20,000.
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS (at least one of which must be fulfilled):
- Consumption on credit cards of which the customer is the holder for an amount equivalent to or greater than €1,200 per year or at least two transactions per month using said cards counting from each fee's settlement date.
- Having taken out from the institution one or several insurance policies(**) that are in force of which the customer is the policyholder and the sum of said policies' paid premiums being equivalent to or greater than €200.
(**) Insurance taken out through Unimediación, S.L.U., a related banking-insurance operator, duly registered at the Special Administrative Registry of Insurance Brokers kept by the Directorate-General of Insurance and Pension Funds (Registration No. OV-0010), acting through the Unicaja Banco, S.A. network. Third-party liability insurance taken out according to prevailing legislation. Nominal annual percentage rate of the account at 0.00%, accordingly: APR of 0%. AER 0 % if the Zero-Fee Plan's terms and conditions are met (Consult the Zero-Fee Plan's terms).
AER calculated for several account balance cases that do not fulfil the Zero-Fee Plan's terms and conditions and considering the account's relevant maintenance fee for each of the examples set out below, along with an annual credit card maintenance fee of €44:
APR of 0%. AER: -2.713 % for a case in which a balance of €6,000 is kept in the account for a year and the account maintenance fee amounts to €30 per quarter.
Under these same conditions: APR of 0%. AER: -8.016% for a case in which a balance of €2,000 is kept in the account for a year.
In the cases described above, the AERs would vary depending on the balance in the account.
The Individuals' Zero-Fee Plan and the benefits it provides will have an indefinite duration. Unicaja Banco reserves the right to cancel said Plan and its benefits or to amend its terms and conditions from time to time, due notice of which shall be given according to the governing legislation.
(3) No fees on any ordinary euro-denominated wire transfers made through online channels in the SEPA area (within Spain or destination countries within the Common European Area).
