Unicaja Banco, S.A. is a member of the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Credit Institutions created by Royal Decree-Law 16/2011, of 14 October, covering a maximum amount of €100,000 (or, in the case of deposits not denominated in euros, its equivalent in the relevant currency) per depositor and per credit institution.

Conditions
Enjoying the Plan 0,0 is a lot easier than you think.
To achieve it we offer you two options:
OPTION 1
Salary, pension or unemployment benefit amounting to at least €600 a month, or recurring deposits* of a minimum amount of €600 per transaction, the sum of which is at least €7,200 in the last twelve months.
And furthermore, meeting any of the following options in the last three months:
- Six debit or credit card purchases.
- Six Bizum purchases at merchants. Bizum transactions between individuals will not be counted.
- Three directly debited bills paid to different bill issuers.
All these transactions must be made with the institution's cards and accounts of which the customer who has joined the programme is the holder.
(*) Recurring deposits shall be deemed as any the CUSTOMER receives in an account opened at Unicaja Banco of which they are the account holder. To be considered as such, at least one transaction per month must have been made in six of the last twelve months through deposits, transfers or cheque payments for an amount equal to or greater than €600 in each transaction. Recurring deposits made over the counter or through ATMs shall not be admitted, nor shall transfers made between Unicaja Banco accounts where the CUSTOMER is connected in any way whatsoever to both accounts.
OPTION 2
Being the holder of Unicaja demand accounts, deposit accounts, investment funds (including DPM – Discretionary Portfolio Management), pension plans or savings insurance policies for an amount equal to or greater than €20,000.

AER of 0.00% without accruing any interest, calculated for an account having a constant balance of €6,000 over the course of a year at an APR of 0.00% if all the terms and conditions of the 0.0 Plan are met; in other words, considering the account and credit card administration and maintenance fees are set at €0.00 (Consult the 0,0 Plan terms here).
Typical examples without meeting the terms and conditions of the Plan 0,0 and considering a maximum administration fee of €9 per quarter, an account maintenance fee of €40 per quarter and an annual credit card maintenance fee of €44:
AER of -3.515% calculated for an account having a constant balance of €6,000 over the course of a year at an APR of 0.00%. Without interest.
AER of -10.333% calculated for an account having a constant balance of €2,000 over the course of a year at an APR of 0.00%. Without interest.
In the cases described above, the AERs would vary depending on the balance in the account.
The 0,0 Plan and the benefits it provides will have an indefinite duration. Unicaja reserves the right to cancel said Plan and its benefits or to amend its terms and conditions from time to time, due notice of which shall be given according to the governing legislation.
(2) For issuing ordinary and immediate transfers the CUSTOMER makes charged to any of their accounts/passbooks denominated in euros between customer payment account located in the SEPA, provided they are made on the Digital Banking service (Unicaja website or app) or at any ATM of the bank's ATM network.
(3) The exemption applies to the debit or credit card specified in the application form or to the card which replaces it.
(4) In euros, payable in the Spanish National Compensation System (SNCE).
(5) Account movement, account balance and loan debt certificates.
